Somme 2016 Project
Twenty-five Wolsingham students from Years 9 to 13 spent a highly enjoyable day at the Durham Light Infantry museum in February to launch a very poignant yet exciting project which will link our school with one in Albert in the Somme area of northern France.
New Deputy Headteacher
We are delighted to announce Kate Morris has been appointed as Deputy Headteacher. This was against a strong field of 14 candidates, and the panel which composed of Governors and LA advisors, were impressed with the very high standard of applicants applying to work at Wolsingham. We are sure you will join Governors in wishing Kate every success in her new role.
4G Pitch Open Soon
Our new 4G facilty is now taking bookings for 5 or 7-a-side pitches, as well as Coaching, Ladies and Seniors Football, and Under 8's Sessions. The facility will be open from 22nd Februaury. Click here for more details.

Year 7 students took part in a Rainforest animal workshop presented by Martyn from Animal Story, a Teesside based company who run workshops and animal encounters aimed at encouraging an interest in wildlife and the natural world around us.
Create your Future
Wolsingham Sixth Form students attended a ‘Create your Future’ event at Teesside University in December to meet academic staff and inspirational designers and find out more about careers in Art, Media, Fashion and Product.
