Exam Results Days are fast approaching and we look forward to seeing students and parents as they celebrate success. Students will be able to collect their results at school at the following times.
On Wednesday and Thursday of Activities Week, the English Faculty escorted a select group of students down to the lower site to explore all aspects of the new building.
Fundraising for WCH
Students raise £2500 for Weardale Community Hospital. In September 2014 students adopted the hospital as the schools charity with an original fundraising target of £1000 to help buy an oxygen concentrator for patients.
Virus Turns Teachers and Students into zombies…but all’s well that ends well, thanks to a team of dedicated year 7 students.
Water Pump Built
At Wolsingham School, we use water coolers from AquAid which helps our students keep hydrated and helps them to perform at their best throughout the school day. It also gives our school the opportunity to help those less fortunate than ourselves. For each machine installed, we donate £20 per year to The Africa Trust.
Royal Marines Visit
Over fifty students and sixth formers were put through their paces at Wolsingham School by Royal Marine Commandos as part of a careers event designed to raise student awareness of specialist job roles.
On Tuesday 7th July our Year 10 Resistant Materials students visited Ibstock Ltd, the company manufacturing the bricks for the new school build.
